Trailer of Sylvester Stallone's documentary Sly out

The trailer of Sly, the upcoming documentary on American actor and filmmaker Sylvester Stallone has been unveiled by Netflix.

Stallone will lead the audience on a retrospective journey, detailing the sacrifices he has had to make as well as the numerous life lessons he has learned over the years that still play a significant role in his life's philosophy.

Stallone describes how he turned to the pen and started writing scripts after being passed over for multiple parts because he was thought to be "uncastable." 

The documentary is helmed by Thom Zimny. Sylvester will be serving as one of the producers of the show along with Sean Stuart, Bill Zanker, Sam Delcanto, Braden Aftergood, Jon Beyer, Tom Forman, Jenny Daly.

The official synopsis reads, “For nearly 50 years Sylvester Stallone has entertained millions with iconi characters and blockbuster franchises, from Rocky to Rambo to The Expendables. This retrospective documentary offers an intimate look at the Oscar-nominated actor-writer-director-producer, paralleling his inspirational underdog story with the indelible characters he has brought to life.”

The documentary will throw light on the talent, hard work, and efforts of Sylvester. His most noted work includes Rocky, in which is acted and wrote the script. The film went on to become a cult classic.

Sly premieres on Netflix on November 3.
