The Canadian counterpart of Law & Order, titled Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent, has set an all-Canadian ensemble cast. The upcoming series is based on Dick Wolf-created series.

Aden Young, Kathleen Munroe, Karen Robinson, K C Collings, Nicola Correia-Damude, and Araya Mengesha play prominent roles in Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent. The 10-part series is currently filming in Toronto and has set a Spring 2024 release window. 

Produced by Lark Productions and Cameron Pictures for Citytv, Criminal Intent is set in metro Toronto as two elite detectives from the Specialised Criminal Investigations unit investigate high-profile crimes and homicides in the area. 

The Law & Order franchise has Law & Order, Law & Order: SVU and Law & Order: Organized Crime. The series is one of the top drama franchises in American television. An official UK adaptation came previously, titled Law & Order: UK, which ran for eight seasons.
