Earlier,  we had reported that Justin Roiland, the co-creator and voice actor of the popular adult animated comedy show Rick and Morty on Adult Swim, had been fired following allegations of domestic violence. The latest update is that Ian Cardoni and Harry Belden have taken over the roles of Rick Sanchez and Morty Smith, previously played by Roiland.

Rick and Morty, the absurdist meta-comedy series, follows the adventures of mad scientist Rick Sanchez and his young grandson Morty Smith as they go on interdimensional adventures. Justin Roiland co-created the show with Dan Harmon. Following the show's massive success, Adult Swim entered a long-term deal with Roiland and Harmon and renewed the show for 10 seasons.

Adult Swim cut ties with Justin Roiland in January following his charge of domestic violation. However, in March, the charges have been dismissed. Later, a woman accused Roiland of sexually assaulting her, but he denied the allegation.

Season 7, which is currently premiering on Adult Swim, has 10 episodes.
