The trailer for the upcoming action thriller Silent Night has been released online. Helmed by Hong Kong filmmaker John Woo, who is best known for directing a few of the notable actioners in Hollywood, including Mission Impossible 2, Hard Target and Broken Arrow, among others, the upcoming film stars Joel Kinnaman in the lead role. The film will hit the theatres on December 1. 

Silent Night is the story of a father who gets to witness his son's death following being caught in the crossfire on the day before Christmas. As the incident takes his voice, the father is on a journey to avenge his son's death.

Silent Night has a script penned by Robert Archer Lynn. It is to be noted that the film will not have any dialogue. 

Besides Joel Kinnaman starring as the lead, the cast also includes Scott Mescudi – better known as Kid Cudi, Harold Torres, and Catalina Sandino Moreno, among others.
