Netflix acquires His Three Daughters at TIFF

Streaming giant Netflix has acquired the rights of the upcoming drama His Three Daughters which stars  Carrie Coon, Elizabeth Olsen and Natasha Lyonne. The film was showcased in the recently held Toronto Film Festival.

As the title suggests, in the film, Carrie, Elizabeth and Natasha play three sisters who are estranged but get to reunite when their father falls sick. The film is directed by Azazel Jacobs.

According to reports, Netflix acquired His Three Daughters for a sum of $6 million. This is the fourth film Netflix is acquiring at TIFF after Hit Man, Woman of the Hour and Mountain Queen: The Summits of Lhakpa Sherpa.

Besides direction, Jacobs has also edited and written the film, along with producing it along with Alex Orlovsky, Duncan Montgomery, Lia Buman, Marc Marrie, Mal Ward, Matt Aselton, Tim Headington, Jack Selby and Diaz Jacobs.
