Beyonce's world-famous Renaissance World Tour has been converted into a concert film. The singer unveiled the trailer of the film on Monday, October 2. Titled, Renaissance: A Film by Beyonce, the movie will hit the theatres on December 1.

Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé, the project "accentuates the journey of Renaissance World Tour, from its inception to the opening in Stockholm, Sweden, to the finale in Kansas City, Missouri," according to an official synopsis.

"It is about Beyoncé’s intention, hard work, involvement in every aspect of the production, her creative mind and purpose to create her legacy, and master her craft," the synopsis continues. "Received with extraordinary acclaim, Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour created a sanctuary for freedom, and shared joy, for more than 2.7 million fans.”

The trailer opens with the voiceover of the singer saying, "When I am performing, I am nothing but free." The scenes then cut to various stages comprising of exclusive behind-the-scenes look at her Renaissance World Tour, which concluded yesterday in Kansas City, Missouri. "My goal for this tour was to create a place where everyone is free, and no one is judged," she adds. The trailer teases what Beyoncé envisioned this tour would be like, as the excited audience members assemble to witness her perform on stage.

Sharing the trailer on Instagram, Beyoncé wrote in the caption, "Be careful what you ask for, ‘cause I just might comply." 

Variety had reported that Beyoncé has closed a deal to distribute her new concert film directly with exhibition giant AMC Theatres. Her tour has become the highest-grossing female tour in history and holds the record for the highest-monthly tour gross of all time.
