Netflix is set to adapt David Nicholls' 2009 novel One Day into a series by the same name. It will premiere on February 9, 2024. The streaming giant made the announcement while releasing the first look images from the series.

The series will revolve around the love story of the leads, Dex and Em, who reunite on the same day every year. It is to be noted that the novel was earlier adapted as a film with Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess in the lead roles.

One Day will have 14 episodes with David serving as the executive producer along with Roanna Benn, Jude Liknaitzky, and Nicole Taylor. The series will star Ambika Mod, Leo Woodall as the protagonists, with an ensemble also including Tim McInnerny, Amber Grappy, Jonny Weldon, Eleanor Tomlinson, Joely Richardson, among others.
