A feature film on the eight months of time that Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein spent while not being under the radar and in hideout is set to be maade. The project is attached to David Seidler who made The King's Speech and Halkawt Mustafa who made the documentary Hiding Saddam Hussein.

Halkawt is set to direct the film which will revolve around Hussein and a farmer, Alaa Namiq who had to keep the former safe from US soldiers. He had dug a hole under his farm land inside which the Hussein was hiding. Details on the cast and crew of the film are yet to be announced.

David and Halkawt have worked on the script of the film for three years with the duo interested in telling the story through Namaq's perspective.

Meanwhile Hiding Saddam Hussein is set to be screened at the Red Sea International Film Festival on December 1.
