True Detective S4 wraps production

The production on the upcoming and fourth season of True Detective has been wrapped up, the series show runner Issa Lopez confirmed.

"Today we finished #TrueDetective: Night Country. The final touches in the sound mix we made in the very room where ‘Ziggy Stardust’ was recorded. I just can’t believe how lucky I am. What a perfect, beautiful trip," Issa wrote on X, who also serves as writer and director of the show.

True Detective is an American crime anthology series, with each season featuring a different ensemble cast. The fourth season will be set against the backdrop of Alaska and will have Jodie Foster, Kali Reis, Fiona Shaw, Christopher Eccleston, John Hawkes, Finn Bennett, and Anna Lambe among others. It will premiere on HBO on January 14, 2024 and will have six episodes.
