Netflix renews Black Mirror for seventh season

Black Mirror series has been renewed for the seventh season by Netflix, a report by Variety confirmed. Created by Charlie Brooker, the sixth season premiered earlier this year and had topped the streaming charts globally.

The casting for the seventh season is yet to be revealed, but as per the report, the makers are planning to go on floors later this year. Charlie, along with Annabel Jones and Jessica Rhoades will return to serve as executive producers. The number of episodes and plot details are not yet divulged.

The sixth season saw some familiar faces, including Salma Hayek, Annie Murphy, Aaron Paul, Josh Hartnett and Paapa Essiedu and had five parts.

Black Mirror is a science fiction anthology series, which explores the consequences technology, has on people and the side effects it emits.
