Actor Jamie Foxx has been sued for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman at a rooftop bar in New York in 2015.

According to a report by TMZ, the court documents reveal that he has been sued by a woman in a case of sexual assault. The woman alleged that Jamie Foxx assaulted her at the Catch restaurant rooftop in New York City in August 2015.

The woman is referred to as Jane Doe in the court documents. Reportedly, she alleged that Jamie Foxx assaulted her at the Catch restaurant rooftop in New York City in August 2015. She accused Foxx of taking her to a secluded corner, rubbing her breasts and groping her under her pants against her will.

According to reports, the case has been filed under New York's Adult Survivor's Act, which provides a one-year window for sexual assault plaintiffs to file civil claims, regardless of the statute of limitations. In the lawsuit, it has been claimed that the incident in question began when a friend of the plaintiff asked the actor for a photo. Foxx seemed intoxicated at the time.

The plaintiff has sought medical treatment and mentioned that she suffered pain as well as emotional distress. The lawsuit names Foxx and Catch, as well as its employees, and seeks compensation and punitive damages.

This is not the first time that Jamie Foxx has been accused of harassment. During the MeToo movement in 2018, a woman accused him of sexually harassing her. However, he denied the allegations.
