Jimmy Kimmel to host 96th Oscars ceremony

It will mark his fourth time hosting the awards

Jimmy Kimmel is set to host the upcoming 96th Oscars, marking his fourth time. Molly McNearney will serve as the executive producer of the show for the second time.

“We are thrilled about Jimmy returning to host and Molly returning as executive producer for the Oscars. They share our love of movies and our commitment to producing a dynamic and entertaining show for our global audience. We are deeply grateful to Jimmy, Molly and their teams for their incredible creativity and partnership and for going on this ride with us again," said Academy CEO Bill Kramer and Academy President Janet Yang in a statement.

The 96th Oscars will be executive produced by Raj Kapoor and Katy Mullan. Raj will also serve as the show runner while Hamish Hamilton will direct the show.

The show will be held on March 10, 2024, at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood.
