We had earlier reported that actor DeWanda Wise will be headlining a horror film titled Imaginary by Lionsgate and Blumhouse Productions. The makers have now announced that actors Tom Payne and Betty Buckley, Taegen Burns, Pyper Braun, Matthew Sato, Veronica Falcón have joined the cast of the film.

Scheduled to release on March 8, 2024, the film has wrapped up its shooting before the writers and actors' strikes.

Imaginary will revolve around a woman called Jessica, who along with her family, move to her childhood home. While all seem to go well, Jessica's stepdaughter Chauncey finds a stuffed toy in the basement. The rest of the film follows how the family is tormented by the evil forces.

Directed by Jeff Wadlow, the film has script by Jeff, Greg Erb and Jason Oremland.
