Ayo Edebiri and John Malkovich to star in A24 horror film Opus

Actors Ayo Edebiri and John Malkovich will be featuring in the upcoming horror film Opus, which will be written and directed by Mark Anthony Green. Attached to A24 studio, the film will mark the director's debut feature film.

Others part of the cast include Murray Bartlett, Amber Midthunder, Stephanie Suganami,  Young Mazino, Tatanka Means, and Juliette Lewis among others.

Opus is expected to revolve around an iconic pop star's comeback after a decade long disappearance. The film will be backed by Collin Creighton and Brad Weston (Makeready), Poppy Hanks and Jelani Johnson (Macro Film Studios), and Josh Bachove.

Charles D King and Sara Newkirk Simon will serve as executive producers of the film along with The-Dream and Nile Rodgers who will also write the songs of the film.

A release date of the film is yet to be announced.
