Damsel, Millie Bobby Brown's upcoming film, has been postponed until next year, confirmed Netflix.
Following recent reports that the fantasy film would not make its original October 13 release date this year, the streamer has now revealed that it will indeed be released in 2024.
A new poster for Netflix's Geeked Week has Brown in costume, standing at the entrance to a cave beneath a dragon's shadow. The poster also shares that the film is "coming 2024". It was also confirmed that the teaser trailer for Damsel will arrive this Saturday, November 11.
Damsel is about a girl who agrees to marry a prince. However, she soon realises that she has been brought in as a sacrifice to fulfil a debt and finds herself battling a dragon for her survival.
The film also stars Angela Bassett, Ray Winstone, Nick Robinson, Brooke Carter, and Shohreh Aghdashloo. Damsel is directed by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, with Dan Mazeau serving as the writer. Backed by Joe Roth, Jeff Kirschenbaum, Chris Castaldi
