The Netflix series The Witcher has been renewed for a fifth season. While the third season will be released this summer, it will be released in two parts and will be the last time Henry Cavill seen as Geralt of Rivia.

According to reports, Liam Hemsworth will be taking on the mantle of playing the role of Geralt of Rivia. Sophie Holland, the casting director of the film, has confirmed that the shooting of fifth season of The Witcher will happen close to heels after season four.  "We’re just about to start filming on season four with Liam Hemsworth and there will be a short gap then we go straight into season five,” Sophie was quoted as saying.

The Witcher's show runner is Lauren Schmidt Hissrich. It is a fantasy drama based on the book series by the same name. Set in a medieval inspired land, the story follows Geralt of Rivia, a monster hunter who is mutated and his journey in a world where people are wicked than beasts.
