 Dua Lipa's original song from Barbie is out

Moments after the release of Barbie's trailer, pop singer Dua Lipa unveiled the first song, Dance the Night, from the film's album. Dua Lipa co-wrote the song with Mark Ronson, Andrew Wyatt and Caroline Ailin. The film is set to be released globally on July 21st, and the full soundtrack will also be revealed on that same day. 

Directed by Greta Gerwig, the film features an ensemble cast,  Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling, Kate McKinnon, Simu Liu, Issa Rae, Alexandra Shipp, America Ferrera, Michael Cera, Emma Mackey, Hari Nef, Scott Evans, Ncuti Gatwa, Will Ferrell, Dua Lipa, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Connor Swindells, Ariana Greenblatt, Emerald Fennell, Sharon Rooney, Nicola Coughlan, Ritu Arya, Ana Cruz Kaye, and Jamie Demetriou. 

Greta Gerwig co-wrote the film along with Noah Baumbach. The music for the film is composed by Alexandre Desplat, who earlier collaborated with the director in the 2019 film Little Women.
