The filmmakers of The Blackening released the final trailer, which highlights the test audience’s reaction to the movie’s hilarious and scary sequences. The trailer features a group of black friends caught in the middle of a killer’s mind games. It shows how the characters will tackle different horror tropes in their own clever ways.

The makers released the first trailer earlier which focused solely on the events of the movie, and the latest one blends new and old footage with audience reactions from early screenings 

The Blackening features Dewayne Perkins, Yvonne Orji, Jay Pharaoh, Grace Byers, Jermaine Fowler, X Mayo, Sinqua Walls, Melvin Gregg, and Antoinette Robertson.

Directed by Tim Story and distributed by Lionsgate, The Blackening first premiered at the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival on September 16, and now the film is set to hit the theaters on June 16.
