Virgin River Renewed for a sixth season

Ahead of the fifth season's premiere, Netflix has renewed the romantic drama series Virgin River for a sixth season. Based on the Virgin River novels by Robyn Carr, the first season premiered on Netflix on December 6, 2019. The series stars Alexandra Breckenridge and Martin Henderson in the lead roles.

Virgin River revolves around Melinda Monroe (Alexandra Breckenridge), who serves as a midwife and nurse practitioner in the remote Northern California town of Virgin River. As her life moves in the small town, she discovers that living there is more complex than expected. 

Developed by Sue Tenney, Virgin River features an ensemble cast including Colin Lawrence, Jenny Cooper, Lauren Hammersley, Annette O'Toole, Tim Matheson, Benjamin Hollingsworth, Marco Grazzini, Mark Ghanimé, and Kai Bradbury, among others
