The second season of Sonic Prime, the series based on Sonic the Hedgehog, is all set to premiere on Netflix on July 13, 2023. 

Set in the multiverse, the story of Sonic Prime shows Sonic travel across different realities after Paradox Prism, a crystal is broken as a result of the battle between Dr Eggman and Sonic. With the universe fractured due to the broken Prism, Sonic is sent across the Shatterverse, where he meets different versions of his friends including Tails, Amy, Knuckles, and Rouge. He is also tasked with fighting all his enemies to gather all the pieces of the Paradox Crystal to fix the universe.

The streamer also released the first look poster along with the premiere date announcement.  Knuckles the Dread, Batten Rouge, Sails Tails, Black Rose, and Catfish, all of whom are pirate versions of Knuckles, Rouge, Tails, Amy Rose, and Big the Cat, respectively are featured in the poster.
