Tom Hanks to narrate series The Americas

Actor Tom Hanks is set to be narrated the upcoming epic natural history series The Americas. The show was first ordered about three years ago and will release on NBC next year. It is to be noted that it will be the first time Tom will narrate an unscripted entertainment series.

The Americas will consist of 10 parts and will be backed by BBC Studios Natural History Unit along with Universal Television Alternative Studio.

The music will be scored by Hans Zimmer. The Americas will highlight the secrets, wonders and fragilities of America. It will be executive produced by Mike Gunton.
