The life and legacy of renowned tennis player Serena Williams is set to be adapted in form of docuseries by ESPN. The series is titled In The Arena: Serena Williams.
Serena Williams boasts a tennis career spanning across two decades and has won 23 Grand Slam titles. One of the world's most famous players, she eventually went on to become one of the iconic sports personality and cultural American icon. The docu-series aims to highlight some of the landmark moments from Serena's professional and personal lives along with accounts from different people who know her.
"Serena [Williams] fights to maintain her place atop the tennis world while juggling the transformational experience of starting a family," reads the logline of the series as per Variety report.
Directed by Gotham Chopra, it is backed by ESPN, Religion of Sports, Tom Brady’s 199 Productions, and Serena and Caroline Currier’s Nine Two Six Productions.
