On Tuesday, Netflix released the trailer of Extraction 2, the sequel to the 2020 film, starring Chris Hemsworth as Tyler Rake. The sequel of the film will once again be directed by Sam Hargrave, who made his debut as a filmmaker with the original.

Written by Joe Russo, based on the graphic novel Ciudad by Ande Parks, Extraction 2 is produced by Joe and Anthony Russo's AGBO.

Besides Chris Hemsworth, the film also stars an ensemble cast including Golshifteh Farahani, Adam Bessa, Daniel Bernhardt, Tinatin Dalakishvili, and Justin Howell, among others.

At the time of its release, the original Extraction became the most-viewed original film premiere on Netflix.

Extraction 2 is set to premiere on Netflix on June 16
