Jamie Foxx is recuperating, says his daughter Corrine Foxx

The actor was rushed to hospital in April from the sets of Back In Action

Earlier, we reported that Jamie Foxx was hospitalised after a health setback in April. He was rushed to the hospital from the sets of his upcoming Netflix feature film with Cameron Diaz and Glenn Close, titled Back In Action.

Recently, his daughter Corrine Foxx shared his health update. She stated that the Oscar-winning actor is out of the hospital and has been recuperating for weeks.

According to Variety, he is also apparently healthy enough to play pickleball. "Update from the family: Sad to see how the media runs wild. My Dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating," Corrine wrote on her Instagram story. "In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday! Thanks for everyone's prayers and support. We have an exciting work announcement coming next week too!"

Corrine broke the news of his medical emergency on April 12 via Instagram, stating, "We wanted to share that my father Jamie Foxx experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily due to quick action and great care he is already on his way to recovery. We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time." Meanwhile, the cause of Foxx's medical emergency has still not been revealed.
