Actor Dwayne Johnson will be making an appearance in the upcoming film Fast X which is set to hit the theatres on May 19, a report by The Wrap revealed.

The actor will be coming in the post-credits scenes of the film and reprise his role as Luke Hobbs. It is to be noted that earlier Dwayne had said that he will not be returning to the franchise. In November 2021, actor Vin Diesel had also asked Dwayne to return to the film franchise.

Subsequently, Dwayne was quoted as saying to CNN, "I told [Diesel] directly that I would not be returning to the franchise. I was firm yet cordial with my words and said that I would always be supportive of the cast and always root for the franchise to be successful, but that there was no chance I would return. Vin’s recent public post was an example of his manipulation. I didn’t like that he brought up his children in the post, as well as Paul Walker’s death. Leave them out of it. We had spoken months ago about this and came to a clear understanding.”

The cast of the film includes Michelle Rodriguez, Jason Mamoa, Tyrese Gibson, Chris Ludacris Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, Jordana Brewster, among others. Fast X is directed by Louis Leterrier and is produced by Neal H Moritz, Vin Diesel, Justin Lin, Jeff Kirschenbaum and Samantha Vincent.
