Earlier we reported that Melissa Barrera has joined hands with the directing collective of Radio Silence for their upcoming monster film backed by Universal Pictures. The latest update is that Dan Stevens will join Barrera in this tentatively untitled film, in which the latter is expected to play a key role.

Details of the plot and the role Dan Stevens will be playing in the upcoming mysterious monster film, are yet to be disclosed by Universal. The directing collective of Radio Silence, Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett have previously worked by Barrera in the Scream reboot and Scream VI. 

The upcoming monster film for Universal Pictures will be helmed by Radio Silence with Chad Villella producing alongside William Sherak, Paul Neinstein and James Vanderbilt for Project X Entertainment. Stephen Shields and Guy Busick are writing the film's screenplay.
