Singer-songwriter Niall Horan, who was part of the boy band One Direction, expressed his desire of wanting to see Hollywood A-lister Leonardo Dicaprio or Allen Leech play his role in the band's biopic if it is made.

The One Direction band also consisted of singers Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, and  Zayn Malik. The band later separated in 2016.

"Currently, it would be Allen Leech from Downton Abbey. I met him in a coffee shop in LA one time and we were just doing the whole, 'We look like each other.' Him or (Leonardo) DiCaprio. One of them," Niall was quoted as saying to ET Canada. It is to be noted that earlier Allen had suggested that Niall play the younger version of his character Tom Branson if there is ever a Downton Abbey spin-off.

Talking about a possible reunion, Niall had previously said that he would want to be part of the band only if every member was up for it.
