Kerry Condon to star in F1 film alongside Brad Pitt?

Actor Kerry Condon will reportedly star as the female lead in the upcoming racing film set in the world of F1. It has Brad Pitt in the lead role. The film is said to be directed by Joseph Kosinski and he will produce it with Jerry Bruckheimer.

The untitled film revolves around Pitt as a racer. He comes out of his retirement to mentor a younger driver. He also takes his final stab at glory on the track as the younger driver's teammate. Meanwhile, Condon will play the racing team technical director, who manages the advanced design of the team's high-tech vehicles. And Damson Idris is also set to star in this film.

The reports suggest that the makers have been conducting a series of auditions, and driving tests to rope in actors. Condon is known for her performance in the HBO series Rome, Gold, Bad Samaritan, and Dreamland, and other TV series, including The Walking Dead, Ray Donovan, and Better Call Saul. Apart from th F1 racing film, she will be next seen in Night Swim, In the Land of Saints and Sinners, and the Star Wars series Skeleton Crew.
