We had earlier reported that Wes Anderson's upcoming film is titled Asteroid City. The makers have now released the trailer of the film on social media on Wednesday.
Set in the 1950s and fictional American deserted town, Asteroid City has Space Cadet convention at the centre of its plot. The film marks the 11th directorial venture of Anderson, who has also penned the script along with Roman Coppola. The film is backed by Steven Rales, Jeremy Dawson and Anderson.
The star-studded cast of the film includes Tom Hanks, Margot Robbie, Jason Schwartzman, Scarlett Johansson, Jeffrey Wright, Tilda Swinton, Bryan Cranston, Ed Norton, Adrien Brody, Liev Schreiber, Hope Davis, Stephen Park, Rupert Friend, Maya Hawke, Steve Carell, Matt Dillon, Hong Chau, Willem Dafoe, Tony Revolori, Jake Ryan, Grace Edwards, Aristou Meehan, Sophia Lillis, Ethan Lee, Jeff Goldblum, and Rita Wilson.
The film will have a US theatrical release on June 16 and a wider international release on June 23.
