HBO series House of the Dragon eyes season 3

Season 2 of the series aims a release in July 2024

The hit series prequel of Game of Thrones, Hous of the Dragon, is reportedly eying for a third season.  

According to Deadline, House of the Dragon's upcoming second season will have eight episodes, two less than the first. The magazine reported it as HBO's long-term plan to extend the series more than two seasons. HBO did not reveal the episode order in the Season 2 renewal announcement. But some reports suggested a 10-episode arc for the second season. However, that plans have changed due to internal changes in HBO.

House of the Dragon is Based on George RR Martin's 2018 book Fire & Blood. The story is set 200 years before Game of Thrones and chronicles the rise and fall of Targaryens in Westeros.

Season 1 of the series starred Matt Smith, Wil Johnson, John Macmillan, and Savannah Steyn, among others.
