Actors Nicole Kidman and Liev Schrieber are reportedly in talks to play the lead in Netflix's upcoming series, The Perfect Couple. Meghann Fahy, Dakota Fanning, Eve Hewson and Jack Reynor are also in talks to star in the limited series which is billed to be a murder mystery. 

The Perfect Couple is adapted from the 2018 novel of the same name written by Elin Hilderbrand. Susanne Bier will direct and executive produce the series. The Perfect Couple will be set in Nantucket on the Fourth of July amidst the wedding of a local girl Celeste Otis. She will be getting married to the scion of the wealthiest family on the island when a dead body turns up floating in the harbour. Everybody at the wedding ends up becoming a prime suspect. 

The series has been developed by 21 Laps who will produce it along with The Jackal Group. Jenna Lamia has showrun The Perfect Couple and will executive produce the series along with Shawn Levy, Josh Barry, author Hilderbrand, Gail Berman and Hend Baghdady.
