Documentary on Ed Sheeran, The Sum of It All, gets release date 

The four-part series will stream on Disney+ Hotstar

The Sum of It All, the upcoming documentary highlighting the musical journey and life of Ed Sheeran is set to stream on Disney+ Hotstar from May 3, the streaming platform announced on social media, along with releasing a glimpse from the project.

The four-part documentary will focus on the musician's concert journey and will also step into his personal life and important moments of his life. It will also include the loss of his close friend and how his wife was diagnosed with a tumour when the couple was pregnant with their second child.

It is backed by  Fulwell 73 Productions and Disney Branded Television. As per Deadline, Ed Sheeran was quoted as saying, "I’ve always been very guarded in my personal and private life; the only documentary I’ve ever made has been one that focused on my songwriting. Disney approached me to make a four-part documentary, and it felt like the right time to open the door and let people in. I hope people enjoy it.”

The documentary us directed by David Soutar with Ben Winston and Ben Turner as executive producers. "Everyone in the world knows and loves Ed Sheeran’s songs, as he has been the soundtrack to so many moments of our lives. But this series of films shows the true man behind the hits, showing Ed in an entirely different way after a tumultuous year personally and professionally. This four-part series has been an honor for us to make," they said in a statement.
