The cast of Apple TV+ series Ted Lasso is set to visit the White House to participate in a discussion with President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden and talk about the prominence of mental health and well being.

"Ted Lasso has inspired the world through its universal themes around optimism, kindness, and determination and the Lasso philosophy to believe,” reads Apple's announcement of the meeting. The excerpts from the conversation are expected to be release on social media soon.

The third season of Ted Lasso premiered on March 15. The series features Jason Sudeikis as Ted Lasso, an American football coach roped in to manage a British soccer team — despite having no experience. The story follows how he makes up for the lack of knowledge with his optimism, underdog determination and biscuits.

Ted Lasso became one of the acclaimed comedy series after the first season went on to be most Emmy-nominated comedy series. It stars Jason Sudeikis in the titular role alongside Hannah Waddingham, Jeremy Swift, Phil Dunster, Brett Goldstein, Brendan Hunt, Nick Mohammed, Anthony Head, Toheeb Jimoh, Cristo Fernández, Kola Bokinni, Billy Harris, James Lance and Juno Temple.

Jason is also the executive producer along with Bill Lawrence, Brendan Hunt, Joe Kelly, Bill Wrubel, Jane Becker and Jamie Lee. Brett Goldstein is the writer.
