Josh Hutcherson to star in sci-fi action The Last Ticket

Josh Hutcherson, who is best known for playing Peeta Mellark in the Hunger Games film series, is set to star in a sci-fi action thriller, The Last Ticket.  

According to Deadline, Hutcherson will be playing the character Ronny. Ronny and his best friend, Mike, work together to hunt down a mysteriously beautiful woman who betrayed them in the middle of a high-stakes robbery. Speculations are rife that a top Korean actress will play the female lead. 

Written and directed by Santiago Manes Moreno, The Last Ticket will be bankrolled by the director's production company, 7ONE7, along with Seoln Jeong, GeeJin Jeong, Bobby Gutierrez and Mark G. Mathis, 

Meanwhile, Josh Hutcherson launched his career as a child actor. The actor's popular feature credits include The Disaster Artist, Journey to the Center of the Earth and its sequel Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, The Kids Are All Right, Bridge to Terabithia, Zathura: A Space Adventure and Kicking & Screaming.
