Dev Patel to star in limited series The Key Man

Actor Dev Patel is set to appear in an upcoming show called The Key Man, in which he will play the lead role in addition to executive produce it.

The upcoming series is expected to be based on real events and focus on Pakistani entrepreneur Arif Naqvi who founded the Dubai-based private equity firm Abraaj Group. Arif is known for deceiving top businessmen, along with other top brass personalities with fraudulent investments. However his company was later liquefied due to accusations of fraud.

With Dev essaying the entrepreneur onscreen, The Key Man is adapted from the novel of the same name from Wall Street Journal reports Simon Clark and Will Louch. The limited series will also have Scott Delman and Florence Sloan as executive producers.
