The first-look poster of Rachel Weisz's upcoming series Dead Ringers was dropped by Prime Video. The series is a remake of David Cronenberg's film of the same name, and Rachel Weisz portrays identical twins who work as gynaecologists.

Alice Birch is the creator, writer and executive producer of Dead Ringers. All six episodes of the series will premiere on April 21. Apart from starring in the series, Rachel will also serve as an executive producer.

Rachel plays the role of Elliot and Beverly Mantle in Dead Ringers. The characters are identical twin sisters who share everything: drugs, lovers, and the desire to push the boundaries of medical ethics. The series will feature Britne Oldford, Poppy Liu, Michael Chernus, Jennifer Ehle, and Emily Meade.

While Sean Durkin directed the first two episodes of the series, Karyn Kusama, Karena Evans, and Lauren Wolkstein are also a part of the direction team. Dead Ringers are co-produced by Amazon Studios and Annapurna Television.
