Oscars 2023: Jamie Lee Curtis wins Best Supporting Actress Award for EEAO

Jamie Lee Curtis won the Best Supporting Actress Award at the 95th Oscars for Everything Everywhere All at Once (EEAO). The actor played the character named Deirdre Beaubeirdre, an IRS inspector; and as several other versions of Deirdre in alternate universes.

Accepting the Award, the first time nominee, Curtis thanked her cast and crew of the film and her family. "To the hundreds and thousands of people, we just won an Oscar. My mother and father who both nominated for oscars in different categories I just won an oscar." She further extended gratitude to the audiences for supporting the genre film that she has done so far. 

Meanwhile, Ke Huy Quan, who played Waymond Wang and Evelyn's husband, won the Best Supporting Actor Award at the 95th Academy Awards.
