First look of The Last Kingdom sequel Seven Kings Must Die is here

The first look poster for The Last Kingdom sequel titled Seven Kings Must Die has been released online. The film follows the events after the death of King Edward which leads to invaders trying to seize the kingdom. Uthred and his comrades must fight the invaders and form a united England.



The Last Kingdom is a television series with five seasons, the upcoming film will serve as the conclusion for the series. The series is based on the historical novel series The Saxon Stories written by Bernard Cornwell. The upcoming film is directed by Edward Bazalgette, based on a screenplay written by Stephen Butchard, who originally adapted the novels for television.

The film stars Alexander Dreymon, Marke Rowley, Arnas Fedravicious, Rod Hallett, Ingrid Garcia, Harry Gilby, and Ross Anderson. Seven Kings Must Die is currently scheduled for a Netflix release on April 14.
