Actor Jonathan Majors will star in the upcoming film Da Understudy, which will be directed by Spike Lee. This venture will mark the reunion of the actor and director after the 2020 film Da 5 Bloods. Westbrook studios and  Amazon studios will produce the film. Majors also produce the feature under his Tall Street Productions.

Da Understudy has a screenplay written by Tom Hanada, Zach Strauss and Tyler Colem, based on an original story written by Tyler Cole. Jonathan Majors will be playing a Broadway actor who finds a role he would kill for.

Meanwhile, Jonathan Majors is basking in the glory of the back-to-back success, including  Creed 3 and Marvel's Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. In the former, the actor essayed the role of Damian Anderson opposite Michael B Jordan. The latter Majors acted as the super-villain  Kang the Conqueror, who will also be featured as the main antagonist in phase five of MCU.
