The first trailer of Kathryn Hahn's series Tiny Beautiful Things was released on Monday. The limited series is based on Cheryl Strayed's best-selling collection of novels of the same name. Kathryn Hahn plays the role of Clare, a mother, wife and struggling author whose life is falling apart. Just in that time, she's offered a new writing gig as an advice columnist, Dear Sugar.

Tiny Beautiful Things will navigate across timelines in Clare's life landing on her present-day life where she's on the verge of divorce. She is tasked with parenting her queer teenage daughter, while also reminiscing about her young days when she aspired to be a writer.

The collection of novels is based on novelist Strayed's personal life and journey as an advice columnist for The Rumpus. In addition to Hahn, Tiny Beautiful Things also stars Tanzyn Crawford, Quentin Plair, Owen Painter, Merritt Wever, Elizabeth Hinkler, and Michaela Watkins.

Liz Tigelaar serves as creator, showrunner, and executive producer, alongside executive producers Reese Witherspoon, Laura Dern, Lauren Neustadter, Stacey Silverman, Jayme Lemons, Strayed, and Hahn. All 8 episodes of Tiny Beautiful Things will be out on Hulu on April 7.
