Ariana DeBose and Amanda Seyfried are cast alongside Chloe Fineman and Megan Stalter in the upcoming comedy My Ex-Friend's Wedding, which will feature all the four actors as childhood friends. The film will be directed by Kav Cannon.

The film follows the group of friends' attempt to stop a wedding after the fifth member of the group, who is now estranged, leaves a voice note stating that her upcoming wedding is a mistake. Co-written by Ashley Rodger and Taylor Jenkins Reid, the film will go on floors sometime this year and will be distributed by Sony Pictures.

"We spit out our tea at the hilarious and heartfelt script for My Ex-Friend’s Wedding and Kay’s vision for it had us wanting to pick up the phone to call all our ex-friends,” said Joe Matukewicz of Sony Pictures.

My Ex-Friend’s Wedding is backed by Stacey Snider.
