Trailer of Wonderwell out 

The film marks late actor Carrie Fisher's final film

We had earlier reported that late actor Carrie Fisher's final film Wonderwell is set to release on June 23.  The makers have now released the trailer of the film.

Directed by Vlad Marsavin, the film will also feature singer Rita Ora, Nell Tiger Free, Sebastian Croft and Kiera Milward. The logline of the film reads, “In an idyllic Italian village, a young American girl on the threshold of adolescence is swept into a timeless magical adventure in Wonderwell.”

The trailer shows that the film will revolve around the 12-year-old Violet who is residing in Italy along with her parents and older sister. After her sister gets selected to be the face of a fashion label, the family sets out to an ancient town for a photo shoot. As Violet wanders off, she meets witch Hazel who takes her through an adventure and journey of discovering womanhood through gateway of her imagination.

The filming for Wonderwell was completed six weeks before Carrie died in December 2016. However, it faced delays due to the pandemic and work in visual effects. Wonderwell is backed by Fred Roos, with screenplay by William Brookfield. The music is composed by William Ross.
