CE Features

The first teaser trailer of the second season of Prime Video's The Summer I Turned Pretty was released by the streamer on Thursday. The series is an adaptation of Jenny Han's young adult novel by the same name.

The trailer starts by showing Belly (Lola Tung) laying down when both Conrad (Christopher Briney) and Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno) approach her. Conrad and Belly are seen kissing, establishing that the two are having a great relationship. Then quickly we see a number of glimpses establishing that the series is going to be a rollercoaster ride of sentiment, romance and drama.

The Summer I Turned Pretty is a multigenerational drama exploring a love triangle involving a girl and two brothers. Set over the course of a Summer, the series is also a coming-of-age story. The show also stars Jackie Chung, Rachel Blanchard, Sean Kaufman, and Alfredo Narciso.

The first season of The Summer I Turned Pretty premiered on June 17, 2022. The series was renewed for a second season even before the release of the first. The second season of the series will be available to watch on July 14 on Prime Video.
