Actors Ryan Reynolds and Kenneth Branagh are set to headline the upcoming action adventure film titled Mayday. The film will be backed by Apple Original Films and Skydance.

Directed by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, the film’s script was finalised before the ongoing WGA strike. The plot of the film has been kept under the wraps and is set to go on floors after Ryan completes shooting for Deadlpool 3.

Goldstein and Daley have earlier teamed up for action adventure comedy Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves. May Day will be backed by David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Don Granger for Skydance, along with Reynolds, Ashley Fox, Johnny Pariseau, and Patrick Gooing for Maximum Effort.
