We know that a month ago, filmmaker James Gunn, who was recently designated as the co-chairmen and co-CEO of DC Studios along with Peter Safran, unveiled plans for the new DC universe. One project in the newly announced slate is a new live-action Batman film titled The Brave and the Bold. The latest update is that Flash helmer Andy Muschietti is tapped to direct the film.

The Brave and the Bold is based on Grant Morrison’s comic book series of the same name. The film will focus on the relationship between Bruce Wayne and his son Damian Wayne.
