The trailer of the second season of Invasion was released recently. The first episode of the series will premiere on August 23 and each one of the total 10 episodes, will drop weekly.  The trailer hints that the action-packed second season of Invasion picks up just months later with the aliens escalating their attacks in an all-out war against the humans. The series has Academy Award-nominated and two-time Emmy Award-nominated producer Simon Kinberg, as the showrunner, and David Weil. 

Billed as a sci-fi drama series, Invasion follows an alien invasion through different perspectives around the world. 

The series stars Golshifteh Farahani, Shioli Kutsuna, Shamier Anderson, India Brown, Billy Barratt, Azhy Robertson, Paddy Holland, Tara Moayed, Enver Gjokaj, Nedra Marie Taylor, and Naian González Norvind.
