With the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup just a week away, Netflix is set to follow the US National team and document the events to release it as a multi-episode docu series. The show is expected to premiere sometime in the coming fall.

While players like Sofia Huerta, Lynn Williams, Kristie Mewis Sofia Huerta, Lynn Williams, Kristie Mewis will be participating in the world cup for the first time, the team will also include Alex Morgan and Megan Rapinoe. The rest of the players are set to be announced soon.

The series will be helmed by Rebecca Gitlitz and the production has begin in New Zealand and Australia. Besides their journey, the docu series will also include and address variety of topics like racial diversity, LGBTQ rights, equal pay and more.
