Nicolas Cage to skip Fantasia Film Festival due to SAG-AFTRA strike

Fantasia Film Festival will be held between July 20 and August 9

Actor Nicolas Cage has cancelled attendance at Montreal's Fantasia Film Festival. It is considered to be North America’s biggest genre festival.

He was supposed to be there on July 22 for the world premiere of Sympathy for the Devil, directed by Yuval Adler. He was also expected to receive Fantasia's Cheval Noir career achievement award. 

Meanwhile, Fatansia recently announced that due to the Screen Actors Guild - American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) strike, actor Nicolas Cage will not attend the film festival next weekend.  
It may be noted that Fantasia Film Festival will be held between July 20 and August 9.
