Actor Renee Rapp, who is seen as the character Leighton Murray in the HBO Max series The Sex Lives of College Girls, has exited from the show. Created by Mindy Kaling and Justin Noble, Rapp appeared in the show's first two seasons, and a third season was renewed in December last year. 

The Sex Lives of College Girls' first season premiered in November 2021, and the second season one year later. The series marked Rapp's television debut. The actor essays the role of a freshman and a wealthy legacy student from New York City who is a lesbian trying to live up to her mother's high expectations. Renee Rapp will appear in a few episodes in the third season and won't continue throughout. 

The series follows the lives of four 18-year-old freshmen roommates at the fictional Essex College in Vermont, covering their sexually active lifestyle as they deal with the struggles and hardships of college and adulthood.

The Sex Lives of College Girls also stars Pauline Chalamet, Amrit Kaur, Alyah Chanelle Scott, Mekki Leeper, Christopher Meyer, Ilia Isorelýs Paulino, Lolo Spencer, Renika Williams, and Mitchell Slaggert in prominent roles.
