Nadia Parkes cast in BBC drama based on Chloe Ayling's kidnap

Actor Nadia Parkes, who is known for her role in Netflix series The Bastard Son & The Devil Himself, is set to headline the upcoming BBC drama which is tentatively titled Kidnapped.

The drama is based on the abduction case of British model Chloe Ayling with Nadia playing the central character. The series is said to be of six parts and will also feature a cast comprising of Adrian Edmondson, Nigel Lindsay, Olive Gray, Eleanor Romandini,  Julian Swiezewski,  Christine Tremarco, among others.

The series is based on Ayling's book which details her kidnap in Italy and struggle to free herself along with a following court case that put her kidnappers behind the bar. This is a timely and important story about how we perceive trauma in the media. I feel honoured to be playing Chloe and to be a part of this adaptation for the BBC," the actor was quoted as saying.

Kidnapped is directed by Al Mackay with Clare Shepherd backing it.
